We present the hierarchy of dynamical behavior[2] for conservative and dissipative dynamical systems. We concentrate on autonomous continuous ordinary different equations and invertible discrete map tied together via the concept of Poincare maps. A building-block principle is suggested for the dynamical hierarchy with the most simple system known. To enable an intuitive understanding we restrict the discussion to graphically accessible properties of dynamics in state-space.
